Gadget Glee – Mobile Device Charger

I recently purchased a portable USB power supply. This one in fact.

According to the description, it holds a charge up to three months. It’s really small, which is great, it drops right into my bag without noticeable bulk or weight. I was out one evening and noticed my Blackberry battery was nearly depleted. I plugged it into my newly purchased and charged portable power supply. In about an hour, it was fully charged. All while I relaxed in the bar and didn’t miss a tweet.

Inexpensive, small and it does exactly what it says. You can’t ask for more!

    And it was an excellent recommendation. Makes you very popular in airports, conferences, coffee shops, and other places where outlets are at a premium. Nice to have in a hotel room, too. In addition, it is compact.

    Two years ago I got a portable charger from Motorola just before Lotusphere. It was great, and helped me more than once. Last year I changed from the Bold 9000 to the Bold 9700 { Link } , and the mini-USB connector did not fit the new phone, so I left it at home.This year I picked up an adapter mini-USB to micro-USB at Radio Shack, so I intend to bring it again… As well as spare batteries to swap.

    That’s pretty cool. I just got a Lenmar PPU5000, which is about the size of an iPod touch.
