Blogging in the Shower

It always happens.  I’ll be in the shower and the resolution to a coding problem hits me.  Or I suddenly remember that I need to buy milk and bread.  Or I have the most brilliant idea for a blog post.  But by the time I get out of the shower, dry off, and am somewhere I can do something about these ideas, they are long forgotten.  “What did I need?  What was I going to write about?”

So what did I do?  Put a white board in the shower?

Nope.  I got soap crayons.  And write directly on the shower walls.

Specifically, these, although you can buy any kids-type soap crayons.

Write down your idea while you shower, wash it away when you’re done!  Just make sure you take a photo or write it down on paper before someone else takes a shower.

Funny thing, I had this idea months ago, but it took me a long time to remember to buy the crayons.  ; )

Great post! For me, it’s waking up with ideas, so I have to keep a notepad on the nightstand.

Thank you for clarifying you use soap. Oh this is about blogging.

Make sure you hide those crayons from your kids… every time I buy those, the kids end up using them. “Darn you kids!” ;-)

I better hide the crayons from my son, or he will add stuff to the shopping list. Like when he added “Volvo S60″ to my grocery list a few months ago, after we had been to the Dallas Car Show…

If you’re going to take shower pics, you need to turn the camera around. DUR!

Wait, E=mc²? I always thought it was F. No wonder I never have any energy.

We had these when my kids were younger. I would write things high on the shower wall, when they were in the bathtub. Then when it was time to rinse the soap from their hair, I told them to look up at whatever was written and tell me what they saw. (Shapes when they were younger, letters and numbers when they were older).  If you leave the writing on the wall too long, it gets harder to clean off.  :- )
